There are a lot of people, who just use (or would like to) a simple dot as a crosshair.
Issue: You can't really choose it, you have to choose 'none' and then 'Enablbe central dot'. Also you can't change it's color that easy (crosshair_dot_color X X X (<< RGB colors, a pain)), because it's red by default.
Not userfriednly at all for noobs/non console user.

Solution:

a) Provide a simple dot as crosshair,
or/and
b) If you click the box 'Enable central dot' you can choose between 'By weapon', 'By Health', 'Custom' as well to color it.

So with b) you could use a 'normal' crosshair PLUS the dot with your favourite color ('Custom' color should be the same like for the normal crosshair, no need to have another 'color panel' (don't know a better word for it now) since it takes too much space).
